These diamond wires are designed for use on single-wire machines for cutting, shaping blocks, and producing slabs.
Diamond wire made in Italy! Tested and used daily by numerous factories both in Italy and abroad.
We have decided to make it available for sale on amastone.com because we are (our customers are) very happy about its performance.

Expert Tips for Single-Wire Saw Cutting:
- Peripheral speed:
- Granite: 32–33 m/sec
- Marble: 34 m/sec (requires more water than granite)
- When using a new diamond wire, start at 30 m/sec and increase the speed by 1 m/sec per block until reaching the optimal speed.
- Down-feed speed:
- Granite: 25–30 cm/hour
- Marble: 35–40 cm/hour
Always monitor the power absorption (amperage) on your control panel and check the wire arch as it exits the block:
- Marble: ~4 cm arch
- Granite: ~5–6 cm arch
