Electroplated diamond carving tool for marble, ceramic, and even granite
These electroplated carving tools have a conical angle of 60 or 90 degrees. They are used to engrave, write, carve, and rough finish bas reliefs. The Pink Line is the new electroplated diamond version for use on all types of marble, and ceramic; it even performs well on granite. (For more precise work, use carbide bits which allow fine finishing within the boundary of the incision itself.
These bits have 60° or a 90° conical tip and a 10-mm borehole shank allowing through-tool cooling (if envisaged by your spindle of course).
Being much faster (with a feed rate of 100/150 mm per minute) than carbide tools, these electroplated carving bits leave a rougher cut than the carbide tools do when writing and engraving. In general, after rough-cutting with the electroplated diamond bit, we recommend carbide tools for fine profiling, writing, or finishing. (See Carbide V-Groove router bits).

Recommended operating parameters for these electroplated diamond bits:
- Spindle speed: 7000 – 8000 rpm as a function of feed rate
- Feed rate: 100/500 mm per minute based on groove depth and hardness of the material.
- Maximum cutting depth per pass: 4 mm (recommended 2 mm)
- Ramp maneuvers recommended
Video below:
Plunge: 2 mm
Spindle speed: 8000 RPM
Feed rate: 300 mm/min
Plunge rate: 80 mm/min with ramp maneuvers

Performing well when engraving granite. Painted or gold plated letter looks very good.

All bits are the wrong size shaft and unusable. Was unable to get invoice in dollars even though it had dollar amount on website.

Hi Travis,
What do you mean with “ wrong size shaft”?
These bits have 10 mm diameter shaft, can you measure it with a caliper?
Its not possible the shaft is wrong, if it’s so as you say it’s a fabrication mistake and we replace them no worries. do you have the right ER Collet? Please send me a photo of the shaft with a caliper.
About the invoice, I’m sorry we cannot release it in dollar because our bank account is in euro currency and for the Italian law we cannot do it in dollars. But if you need it we make an invoice manually in dollars that you can use for your purpose. We can do it no problem we didn’t understand you could not use it in euro.
We have many clients in the Usa who buy from our ecommerce and no ones asked us for an invoice in dollars, sorry for that. We try our best.
Waiting for your email with the photos. Bye
