Widia Carving router bit h170 mm – Marble – OMGF
Carving router bit for marble and soft stone working in CNC machines.
When do you use this tool?
TheseCarving bits are widely used by stoneworkers to make engravings and bass-relieves with 3 axes CNC machines and they are used also for making 3D Sculptures with 5 axes machines. They are also used in Robotic milling & stone sculpting too.
The main feature of this product:
The main characteristic feature of this router bits is the total length of 170 mm.
This length is requested when you need to go deep in a cavity, for example, to make a pocket in the stone and the spindle could touch or hit the stone piece that the machine is working. In this case, you could use a longer router bit like this one without the need of an extension tool.
There is also a shorter version of these engraving router bis with 110 mm total length.
The fitting is 1/2 gas and the tools are available in holed version and not-holed version.

Recommended working parameters
- Spindle speed: 2500/3500 rpm. More calcareous is the stone you are working higher speed you need
- Cutting Feed rate 100/150 mm per minute
- Maximum cutting depth 5 mm
- We recommend a ramp input when the tool goes inside the stone
Often some customers want to use these router bits even on small (light) machines that have not been made to work marble and granite.
In these cases, the recommended parameters above may not work well. For example, it may be necessary to work at higher speeds because the maximum spindle torque used for lightweight materials, such as forex or wood, is at higher speeds. We therefore recommend that you check the parameters correctly and for any doubt do not hesitate to contact us: firstname.lastname@example.org
