Aluminum vacuum manifold
An aluminum vacuum manifold is a device that is used to connect a vacuum pump to suction cups in CNC machines. It is designed to distribute vacuum pressure to multiple suction cups simultaneously. This manifold is equipped with ball valves, nickel-plated brass tap and swivel fittings and is composed of two parallel but independent lines of fittings.
The vacuum manifold is available in three different models, which vary based on the number of output fittings. These models are:
- A model with 10 fittings, with 5 fittings for each line
- A model with 20 fittings, with 10 fittings for each line
- A model with 32 fittings, with 16 fittings for each line
For each model, you can choose an output air hose fitting size of 6mm, 8mm, or 10mm.
The vacuum manifold’s function is to create a vacuum in the upper plate through one line and release the vacuum in the bottom plates through the other. This way, the vacuum in the cups attached to the table can be preserved while the vacuum in the cups attached to the workpiece can be released.
