This stubbing wheel is especially useful in 5-axis robotic sculpturing and architectural applications. Its specially designed concavity minimizes the tool encumbrance and thus enhances flexibility in challenging geometry. We have received very positive feedback from the market.
Being that the bottom of the tool is diamond coated also, on 5-axis applications, the tool is able to make penetration cuts as it advances. While making the cut, if the material comes into contact with the inside surface of the tool, the tool won’t damage the material since the inside surface is diamond coated also. If a typical, non-concave tool were to come into contact with the material
This stubbing wheel comes in with three different diameters (50 mm, 85 mm, and 100 mm) and two different useful heights as illustrated in the table below.
