Nicolai Granite stubbing wheel – small diameter
Nicolai CNC stubbing wheel for recessing and material removal. Ideal to work hard material such as granite and engineered stone. It is one of the base tools for marble-men who produce sinks, kitchen tops, shower top and all works where heavy material removal is requested.
This small Nicolai sintered stubbing wheel is available in 2 diameters 50mm and 53mm and because that we named it “small diameter”. The fitting bore can be 10mm or 14mm. Choose the right one for you.
Stone fabricators with small CNC stone router use this stubbing wheels if the piece to work is not big and if the spindle in your CNC machine is not very powerful.
The bigger version of the Nicolai granite stubbing wheel is this one: Segmented stubbing wheel – Granite, Engineered stone – Nicolai
If you have a spindle with a half-gas fitting use the adaptor: Adaptor 1/2 Gas to Small Flange
We suggest a ramp input between 10° and 20° and a cutting deep per pass of max 5mm.
