POLIMIT | Panels for Bridge Saw tables
Polimit Panels for Cutting Tables of Bridge Saws
The material is CFC- and HCFC-free polyurethane based on rigid foam, a high-performance material.
Polimit is an ideal material for use as a table surface for bridge saws when cutting porcelain stoneware and large ceramic slabs.
Table Dimensions:
- Table 180 x 366 cm: 6 panels measuring 90 x 122 x 5 cm
- Table 200 x 366 cm: 6 panels measuring 100 x 122 x 5 cm
Key Features:
- Extremely high-pressure resistance/undeformable
- It does not absorb water
- Resistant to chemicals and extreme temperatures
- Homogeneous material, not laminated
- Easy to apply with screws or adhesive
- Resistant to aging and indestructible
Instructions for Assembling the Polimit Cutting Table:
- Prepare the surface:
The surface where the Polimit panels will be placed must be flat and even (a stone surface is ideal) to ensure proper placement without voids. - Apply adhesive:
We suggest the Adhesive sealant Fix All X-treme Power Express – Soudal. Spread the Adhesive evenly and generously across all panels. - Create drainage channels:
Leave a small gap of 2–3 cm between the panels along the length of the table to allow water to drain during operations. - Ensure uniform adhesion:
After gluing the Polimit panels to the existing table, place a heavy weight (such as a slab) on top to ensure even adhesion. - Plane the surface:
Use a wood, marble, or granite milling cutter to lightly plane the surface, ensuring it is perfectly level. - Reinforce with screws (if necessary):
If needed, apply screws at the corners of each panel to enhance the grip further.
Important Note:
If the adhesive is not applied evenly, is used on a wet base or a surface with many voids, or if an unsuitable adhesive is used, partial detachment or swelling of the panel may occur in areas where the adhesive has not adhered properly.
