The SSK series petal collets, also known as grippers, clamping pliers, or SSK pin, are a fundamental component in automatic tool change spindles (automatic clamping). These grippers are highly precise, robust and reliable, and are used by leading machine tools and spindle manufacturers worldwide to lock the collets inside the spindle.

The SSK grippers are ideal for the mechanical, wood, marble/granite, and glass sectors and are installed in spindles from leading manufacturers such as VEM, Saccardo, Eltra, and others. You will find petal collets for the main international standards DIN, ISO, ANSI, ISO, MAS, HSK.

How do I identify the petal collet I need?

If you need to replace a broken gripper in your spindle, you can easily identify it by reading the codes printed on the petals. Otherwise, send us detailed photos of the petal collet (including measurements taken with a caliper) and its petals to the email address and we will respond as soon as possible.
