In this category, you find tools for grinding and polishing concrete and natural stone floors.
Available diamond-metallic and resin-bonded tools.
Diamond-metallic tools are abrasive tools that combine industrial-grade diamonds with a metallic bonding agent, such as iron or other metals. These tools are primarily used for the grinding and leveling phases of floor restoration, particularly on hard surfaces like concrete, marble, and granite. The metal bond provides durability and aggressive cutting power, making these tools ideal for removing coatings, surface irregularities, and scratches from floors during the initial stages of restoration.
Resin-bonded tools use diamonds embedded in a resin-based bonding material. These tools are typically used for polishing and finishing floors after the grinding process. Resin-bonded tools are less aggressive than metallic tools and are designed for refining surfaces, reducing scratches, and achieving a smooth, glossy finish. They are widely used in the mid to final stages of floor restoration to transition the surface from rough grinding to high-gloss polishing.
Regarding the resin-bonded floor tools, the JUMPER Series tools are special abrasives with a beveled edge ideal for “jumping” floor irregularities.
MK, GK, and CK series are standard resin-bonded abrasives with a flat edge – Not recommended for polishing uneven or irregular surfaces
