The gloss meter is a compact and easy-to-use instrument, ideal for stonemasons and polishers who need to accurately measure the gloss level of various materials.

How Does It Work?

The gloss meter operates based on the light reflection principle to determine the gloss level of a surface. A beam of light is projected onto the surface being analyzed:

• Part of the light is absorbed by the material
• Part of the light is reflected

The device calculates the gloss level based on the amount of light reflected: the higher the reflection, the greater the material’s gloss. The measured value is displayed instantly on the screen.
