How does a gloss meter work?
A gloss-measuring device operates on the light reflection principle; the GlossMetro sends light particles on the surface to be measured, the light particles are partly absorbed by the material and partly reflected, the degree of gloss is calculated on the light particles that reflect the material, the more particles are reflected the greater the degree of gloss of the material.
