Electroplated stubbing wheels for Marble
Electroplated stubbing wheels for CNC machines to use for heavy-duty material removal. These tools are used in any job where material needs to be removed, for example, when manufacturing tubs, sinks, or shower bases. They can be used on stone, marble, or travertine.
You will need a flanged adapter compatible with the type of fitting you have chosen to use these electroplated wheels, for example, a half gas adapter or tool holder cone sized for your machine.
Our stubbing wheels are available in diameters of 50mm, 85mm, 100mm, and 150mm.
Our diamond wheels come with two types: 20/25 grit for faster grinding and standard 25/30 grit.
Stubbing wheel operating paramters:
The spindle speed of rotation (in rpms) will need to be properly adjusted.
The smaller the diameter, the higher the speed of rotation.
The speed of rotation generally varies from 5000 to 7000 rpm.
- A typical speed for a 50-mm diameter scrubbing wheel would be 7000 rpm;
- A typical speed for an 85- mm diameter wheel would be 6000 rpm.
